Mason W. - Coach Wayne, I just wanted to reach out to tell you that I am Thankful for everything you gave me as a player. I now play college baseball as a pitcher and the little things you taught me at such a young age are the same things they stress. Keep coaching & building the young ones. Love You Always - Mambo #5
Casey V. - Coach Wayne, I remember my Dad reading a speech he wrote at our team banquet regarding how blessed we were to find you and what a great mentor you were for all of us. I'm reaching out to tell you how much of an impact you made on my life growing up. You taught me more about the game of baseball than any coach I ever had including College. Those lessons also brought real life lessons. You taught me the importance of being in the right place at the right time and in the right Uniform. You taught me the importance of working harder than anyone and exuding the confidence that winners must have. If it weren't for you, I would have never reached my full potential in baseball or any other sport. You taught me attention to detail is what makes good players great and that persistence is what develops muscle memory in both sports & Life. My time on your team was some of the most cherished times, we had great teams and experiences not many other kids get to have. I'm 30 years old now, I hope you continue to spread your wisdom of baseball and life lessons that you once shared with me. I appreciate you Coach!
